The Barn Players Theatre is now accepting scripts for the Barn Players' 6 X 10: A Festival of Original 10-Minute Plays. The 6 X 10 Festival is open to all playwrights living within 200 miles of Kansas City. All entries should be 10 minutes in length and may not have been previously produced. Six plays will be selected to be produced in the Festival which runs December 5-7, 2008.
How To Enter
Playwrights may submit up to two scripts for consideration.
Mail two copies of your script(s) and a cover letter to the address below. Be sure your cover letter includes your name, address, email address, and the title of your play(s). The scripts should include the name of the play, but not your name or any other personal information. This is to help ensure an anonymous selection process.
Plays may not be submitted electronically.
There is a charge of $5 per script to help defray the costs of producing the festival. Please include a check or cash with your submission.
All communication with playwrights during the selection process will be via email, so be sure to include your email address on your cover letter. We will inform you when the play was received and when the judging process has been completed.
If you want your scripts returned to you after judging, you must include a self-addressed stamped envelope which is large enough and includes adequate postage.
Scripts must be received by Aug 31, 2008.
