Synopsis:
Based on the story of the real-life "Chicken Ranch", formerly of Texas. This happy-go-lucky view of small town vice and statewide political side-stepping recounts the good times and the demise of the Chicken Ranch, known since the 1850s as one of the better pleasure palaces in all of Texas, having provided for politicians, personalities, and even victorious football teams. In the late 1970's, The brothel is under the proprietorship of Miss Mona Stangley who, while taking care of her girls, is also on good terms with the local sheriff. All runs smoothly until a puritanical Watchdog decides to turn his righteous indignation on the Chicken Ranch, raising a political firestorm which threatens the existence of the quietly-revered institution.
